33 Years Icon-gallery
The icon-gallery Dritsoulas celebrates its 36th birthday in the year 2010. During these years the gallery has become a solid establishment for icon lovers all over the world and especially in the German-speaking region. It is because of this anniversary that we want to put on record the development and history of the icon-gallery.

About Us
Serafim Dritsoulas had a special relationship to icons from his boyhood onwards. This was due to his Greek and orthodox ancestry as well as to his religiousness. His primal profession as a goldsmith didn’t reduce his love for the orthodox art.

The Icon’s World
The first Christians had neither time nor interest in an art which corresponded to their faith. Every day they awaited the end of the world and the return of Christ as it is prophesised in the bible.
